Shyam Steel Enterprises

Shyam Steel Enterprises is located at Plot No. 36 in the Small Factory Area. It is a gritty part of town, which makes sense for a steel business. We are very close to the Harihar Mandir, so we hear the morning prayers every day when we are opening up the yard. The plot is mostly open space where we keep the steel stock. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a fancy meeting. There’s iron dust on the floor and the smell of metal in the air. We spend a lot of time outdoors, even when it’s hot, because that is where the work happens. Loading the trucks takes a lot of effort and coordination. We have a small office area tucked away near the front gate, but we are rarely sitting in it for long. Most of our time is spent checking the quality of the rods and sheets as they come in or go out. The Small Factory Area is full of people like us, just working hard and trying to keep things moving. We’ve known the guys at the neighboring plots for years, and we often help each other out if a crane or a tool is needed. It’s a community of workers. We don’t have a big sign or any bright lights. People just know us by the plot number and the fact that we are right near the temple.
