You can find us on the 3rd floor of Shriram Shyam Towers in Nagpur. It’s at 205, right next to NIT Sadar. The elevator is sometimes a bit slow so a lot of us just take the stairs to get the blood moving. Green Channel Travel Services is basically just a few rooms filled with computers, stacks of travel papers, and the sound of phones ringing. Sadar is a really lively part of the city, and being right next to NIT means there is always something happening outside. We spend the day looking at flights and train schedules and trying to figure out the best ways for people to get from one place to another. It’s not always easy work, especially when the internet acts up or the systems go down, but we’ve been doing this long enough to know the tricks. The office has big windows but the view is mostly just other buildings and the street below. We get a lot of walk-in customers because we’re so central. It feels good when someone comes back from a trip and tells us it went well. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when the afternoons get long. It’s a simple setup here in the towers, no big frills, just desks and chairs and people working on travel plans all day long. We try to keep things organized but there is always a bit of paperwork lying around.
