Shri Harihar Agarbatti Bhandar

Down in Shantinagar, you will find us at Jalaram Bhavan. Shri Harihar Agarbatti Bhandar is our little shop where we keep all the Santmani Agarbatti. The smell of incense is everywhere here, which is actually quite nice. We aren't some giant factory. It’s more of a local store where we know a lot of the people who walk through the door. Shantinagar is a quiet enough place for us to do our business. We spend our time checking stock and helping whoever comes in. We don't have a fancy website or a lot of bells and whistles. We just sell agarbatti because that’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the boxes get stacked a bit high, making the shop feel a little cramped, but it’s home to us. Jalaram Bhavan is an easy landmark to find if you are in the area. We don't use marketing tricks to get people to buy things. If they like the scent, they buy it. It’s as simple as that. We try to keep the prices fair so everyone can have some incense for their homes. We aren't trying to change the world. We are just trying to run a good shop. Some days are busier than others, especially around festival times, but we take it as it comes. It's a modest life, but we like it here in Shantinagar.
