Shri Datta Traders

Shri Datta Traders is our small business over on Khadgaon Road. We are at House No. 7193 on Plot No. 31. It’s in the Wadi Nagpur area, specifically Pawle Lay Out. If you find the Shree Krishna Mandir, you are basically right there. We’ve lived in Nagpur for most of our lives and setting up shop here felt like the right thing to do. We deal in all sorts of materials. It’s a bit of a mix. The yard isn't huge so we have to be smart about how we stack things. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three customers show up at once and we only have one person to help. We don't have a polished look or a big team of sales people. It’s usually just me and a couple of others. We drink our chai and talk about the news while we wait for the next truck. The road gets really dusty in the summer months. We try to sprinkle some water down but it doesn't help for long. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to provide for our families and keep the business running. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time. The neighbors at the Krishna Mandir are good folks and we try not to block the road with our deliveries when they have festivals.
