You can find us in the Itwari area, which is part of the Nagpur district. We are based in Koda Colony, not too far from the Anaj Bazar. Being near the grain market means things are always moving around here. You see a lot of bullock carts and tractors passing by our front door every day. We handle trading for various goods that people in the village and the surrounding Tehsil need. Our office is a simple room with a couple of benches and a big ledger book. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We usually open up early when the farmers start coming into the bazaar. It can get very crowded during the harvest season, and the noise of people bargaining is something you hear all day long. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have lived in this village our whole lives. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it's not too hot, just watching the street. It’s a steady kind of life, and we don't look for much more than that. We just try to be fair and do our work properly so we can go home at a decent hour.
