Shivshankar Ice Parlor

Shivshankar Ice Parlor is tucked away behind the Eskript Bus Stand. We are situated in Pathkar Nagar, specifically in the Sutar Plot area. Being near a bus stand means there is a constant stream of travelers and commuters walking past our window. People are usually in a hurry to catch their ride, so they just grab something and go. It’s a dusty spot because of all the traffic and the buses idling nearby, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the counters and the glass displays. It feels like as soon as you clean it, another layer of dust settles. That’s just life near a transport hub. The shop itself is quite modest and small. We have our regulars from the neighborhood who come in when it’s quieter in the evenings, but the bulk of our day is dictated by the bus schedules. When a bus arrives, we get busy for ten minutes. When it leaves, we have a few minutes of peace to rest. We don't have much of a staff, so it is usually just us managing everything from the stock to the cleaning. It gets hot inside, especially in the afternoons, so the cooling fans are always running at full speed. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here. It is just a place to get an ice cream while you wait. We keep things straightforward and try to stay on top of the daily chores.
