Ladeeji Swites

We set up our shop on Wathoda Ring Road in the Hiwari Nagar area of Nagpur. It is quite easy to find us because we are right near Lalita Public School. During the day, you can hear the kids playing outside or the bell ringing for classes to end. The ring road is always moving with cars and trucks passing through Nagpur. We are Ladeeji Swites and we have been in this neighborhood for some time now. Making sweets is what we do, and it takes up most of our waking hours. We start early in the kitchen while the air is still a bit cool. There is always a lot of milk and sugar being moved around. The shop is not very big, just a counter and some shelves for the trays. We try to keep things fresh, so we only make what we think will sell that day. Sometimes we run out of things early and other times we have leftovers. It just depends on the day. People from the school and the nearby houses come in often. It is nice to see familiar faces every day. We do not have a website or any fancy marketing things to show off. We just stay here behind the counter and talk to whoever walks in. Hiwari Nagar is a good place to be, even with all the traffic noise from the main road. We are just a local shop trying to do our job right every day.
