You can find Sanstar Microsystems over at El-15 in the Electronic Zone of the MIDC area on Hingna Road. It’s a typical industrial zone setup. There are rows of similar buildings all around us, mostly other companies doing technical work. Our place is pretty functional. We have a main floor where most of the activity happens and a smaller office section for the administrative side. It’s not the most beautiful building in the world, just grey walls and sturdy doors, but it serves its purpose. The Hingna Road area is always full of activity, with people coming and going from the various factories. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change and grow. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of people working and the occasional phone ringing. We don't have a fancy canteen, so we usually just bring our own food and eat at our desks. It’s a simple life. We don't spend money on expensive furniture or decorations because we’d rather focus on the equipment and the work itself. Most of the guys here are local to Nagpur, so there’s a lot of talk about the local weather or the latest cricket match. We don't have a formal mission statement written on the wall. We just show up every morning, check the schedule, and get to work on whatever needs finishing. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place to spend the day.
