Swara Fashion

Swara Fashion is located at Plot No 35 right on the Rameshvari Ring Road in Nagpur. If you know Shatabdi Chowk, we are very close to that spot. It’s a busy corner of the city and there is always dust blowing off the road from the trucks passing by. I opened this shop because I wanted something of my own. Most of the day is spent hanging up new dresses or chatting with the ladies who live in the neighborhood. Nagpur gets incredibly hot in the summer, so I usually keep the fan on full blast and hope the power stays on. We have a lot of local stuff, mostly things people can wear to work or for a family function. It is not a big boutique with a lot of glass and mirrors, just a practical shop where you can find something decent. I try to keep the stock fresh but sometimes the deliveries get delayed on the ring road. My daughter helps me out sometimes when it gets busy in the evenings after people finish their work. We have a small trial room in the back that is a bit cramped but it works. People in this part of Nagpur like to bargain, so I spend a lot of time talking about prices. It’s a good way to spend the day, even if my feet hurt by the time I close the shutters at night.
