Saibaba Medi.& Gen. Store

I spend most of my time at the shop here in Panchsheel Nagar. Nagpur gets incredibly hot during the summer, so the store is usually the best place to be under the fan. Saibaba Medi. & Gen. Store is a name people in the local city area have gotten used to seeing. We are situated in a spot that stays pretty active throughout the day. People come in for all sorts of things, not just medicine. It is a general store too, so we have a bit of everything scattered around. The shelves are quite full, and sometimes it takes a second to find exactly what someone is looking for, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest or most modern place around, we just want to be here when someone needs something. The floors are a bit worn down from people walking in and out all day. We have some old wooden counters that have seen better days, but they still work fine. Living and working in Nagpur City has its own pace. It is not as fast as Mumbai, but it is not slow either. We open up early and usually stay until the street lights have been on for a while. It is just what we do. No big story behind it, just a shop in Nagpur trying to keep the shelves stocked for the neighbors. It feels good to be part of the community.
