Out here in the MIDC Hingna area, specifically at Ei-25 in the Electronic Zone, you'll find our setup, Saboo Plastics Pvt. Ltd. It’s an industrial neighborhood, so there’s always noise and trucks moving about. We’ve been here for a while, making different plastic parts and items that people use every day. The factory floor is where most of the action happens. It’s hot, especially during the summer months in Nagpur, but the machines keep running regardless. I usually spend my time between the small office and the machines. We started small, just a couple of molds and a lot of hope. Now we have a few more people on staff, mostly locals from the nearby areas. It isn't a glamorous job by any means. There’s grease, the smell of melting plastic, and constant maintenance needed to keep things going. We try to keep things organized, though it’s a struggle when orders pile up unexpectedly. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to produce plastic goods that don't break the first time you use them. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend the whole night fixing it. That’s just how it goes in this line of work. Most of our clients have been with us for years because they know we don't disappear when things get tough. We just stay here in Hingna and do the work. It’s a living, and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening.
