Working at Rst Regional Cancer Hospital out on Mani Wada Road, right by Sogi Square, is a specific kind of life. It is a serious place, as you can probably imagine given the kind of work we do here. Sogi Square is a landmark most people in this area know well, so finding us isn't usually too hard for the families who are coming from further away. The hospital itself is a solid, older building that has seen a lot of people come and go over the years. We aren't trying to be the flashiest place in town with big advertisements. We just provide a place for treatment and care. The halls are usually quiet, though the waiting rooms can get quite crowded in the afternoons when the clinics are full. Our staff mostly keeps their heads down and focuses on the tasks at hand. There is a lot of paperwork and a lot of daily routine, but that's how a regional hospital like this stays organized. The neighborhood around Mani Wada Road has changed quite a bit since we first started, but the hospital remains pretty much the same. We have a small canteen area where staff and visitors grab a quick tea. It’s a place of quiet moments and some very long days. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything; we are just here because there is a real need for these services in our region. It’s just an honest medical facility doing its best for patients.
