Prajapati Cement Frame Art

Down at 79 Uday Nagar, near the Uday Garden in Ayodhya Nagar, you will find us working at Prajapati Cement Frame Art. It is a place where things are always a bit gray from the cement dust. We spend our days mixing and pouring into molds to make different frames and designs. It is heavy work, and our hands are usually rough from the material. We have a yard where the finished pieces sit out to dry in the sun. You can see them lined up if you walk past the gate. Sometimes we are working on a custom shape for a local house, and other times we are just making standard frames. It is not a quiet place because there is always the sound of mixing or someone moving heavy stones around. We do not have a big sales office. Most people just come right into the work area to talk to us. We show them what we have finished and what we are currently working on. It is a messy process, but seeing the final product once it has set is always a good feeling. We have been in this spot for a while, and the neighbors are used to the noise. It is just us doing what we know how to do with cement and sand. We take it one piece at a time and try to get the edges right. The rain makes things difficult sometimes.
