Naik Brother

You can find us over at Agaramdevi Chowk, right in the heart of the Cotton Market area. Being on Subhas Road means there is never a quiet moment. Naik Brother has been operating out of this small shop for quite some time now. It’s a family-run thing, so there’s usually a bit of bickering about where to put the new stock or who forgot to lock the side door. The area is always crowded with carts and people looking for deals, so getting deliveries in can be a real struggle sometimes. We have to time it just right. The shop itself is packed from floor to ceiling. We know exactly where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone just walking in. We don't have a website or a fancy catalog. If someone needs something, they just come in and ask, and we dig it out for them. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to get around to it. It’s a bit hot in the summer since the ceiling fan is quite old and noisy, but we’re used to it. We just keep our heads down and serve the people who come through the door. It’s a plain life, but it’s what we know. There's no use complaining about the noise when it's just part of the job.
