Mahalaxmi Cards & Printer

Our shop, Mahalaxmi Cards & Printer, is located right at Ramkular Chowk in New Shukrawari. You will find us just behind the Ram Jeevan Choudhari Hospital. It is a very busy part of the neighborhood, and you can always hear the sounds of ambulances and people talking loudly outside. We have been printing all sorts of cards here for many years. Whether it is a small set of cards for a birthday or a large order for a wedding, we handle it all. The smell of fresh ink is the first thing you will notice when you step inside our door. We still use some of our older printing presses because they do a better job for certain types of paper. The shop is often crowded with stacks of cardstock and finished orders waiting for people to come and get them. We do not have a fancy office or a place for people to wait in comfort, just a couple of old chairs. My family has been doing this work for a long time, so we have seen many generations of local families come through our doors. We do not use much modern software; we mostly rely on what we have learned by doing the work ourselves. During the busy wedding season, we often stay here until the early hours of the morning to get everything finished. Our hands are usually stained with ink, but that is part of the trade.
