Mahakali Namkeen Bhandar

Mahakali Namkeen Bhandar is our little shop over on Kamptee Road. We are specifically located at Plot No. 22 in Ram Krishna Nagar. It’s right there in the Wanjara Layout near Pili Nadi. Most folks around here just drop in when they want something salty to eat with their tea. We make namkeen every day. The smell of frying usually fills up the street by mid-morning. It can get pretty hot in the kitchen part of the shop, especially during the summer months in Nagpur. We don't have fancy packaging or anything like that. We just scoop it into bags and tie them up. My uncle started this a long time ago and we just kept it going. There isn't much to say about us really. We just work hard to make sure the snacks are fresh. Some days are busier than others, especially around the festivals when everyone wants extra. We see the same faces every week coming from the layout nearby. The shop isn't huge, but it's enough for what we do. We try to keep things clean and simple. If you are walking down from the Pili Nadi side, you’ll find us easily. It’s a local business through and through. We live nearby too, so this is basically our second home. We just keep frying and packing all day long to keep up with the regulars who visit us.
