You can find us right on WHC Road in Laxmi Nagar. It’s a pretty central spot in Nagpur. We’ve been here for quite a while, seeing the city change around us. The building has seen many faces come and go over the years. It’s a hotel, but we try not to make it feel like one of those cold, sterile places. It’s more of a local fixture. The staff here are mostly local people who know the neighborhood well. We’re right there in the mix of things. People come for the rooms or maybe just a meal. It gets busy during the wedding season, as you can imagine. Laxmi Nagar is a lively area and we like being part of that energy. We don’t have those massive lobbies with marble everywhere. It’s more comfortable and lived-in. Some of the furniture is a bit older, but it’s sturdy. We focus on making sure the lights work and the sheets are clean. It’s a simple business model. We aren’t trying to be a five-star luxury resort. We are just a place to stay in Nagpur where you get treated like a person, not a reservation number. Sometimes the traffic on WHC Road is loud, but that’s just part of being in the middle of everything. We’ve had families stay with us for generations. It’s nice to see familiar faces return year after year. We keep the kettle on and the doors open for anyone passing through.
