At Gupta Drug Agencies, located at No. 72-73 Gm Market in Gandhibagh, things stay pretty busy from Monday to Saturday. This part of Nagpur is famous for being a hub of trade, and our shop is right in the thick of it. We have a lot of stock coming in from different manufacturers, so the floor is rarely empty of boxes. We spend a lot of time checking batch numbers and expiry dates to make sure everything in the inventory is correct. It’s not a quiet office job; there is always the sound of tape dispensers and people shouting orders across the alleyway. The ventilation isn't the best, so we usually have a couple of small table fans pointed at us while we work. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing stuff, we just rely on the relationships we’ve built with local chemists over the decades. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door during the monsoon, so we have to be quick about moving the supplies further back. We are just regular people trying to run a wholesale drug business in a very crowded market. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting and shifting items all day, but we are used to the grind. Most of our regular clients just call us up and we get their boxes ready for pickup. It's simple, old-fashioned trading that works for everyone involved here.
