Ketki Foods is at G-11 in the Puncham Apartments on Dixit Nagar, right off Nari Road. It’s basically a home-style setup where we handle everything ourselves. In the mornings, the whole place smells like whatever we are cooking or preparing that day. It might be spices one day or something sweet the next. We have a lot of containers and bags stacked up because there is always something that needs to be packed or moved. Living and working in the same apartment complex means we are always around if someone needs something. It’s a small operation with just a few of us doing the work. The kitchen is the heart of the business and it’s usually a bit of a chaotic scene with pots and pans everywhere. We don't have a big storefront where people can browse. Usually, people just know we are here and they come to the door to pick things up. Nari Road can get busy but our little corner in Dixit Nagar is usually a bit quieter. We spend a lot of time checking the ingredients we get from the market. If something isn't right, we don't use it. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours standing on our feet, but we enjoy the process of making food. We don't use any fancy machinery, just regular kitchen tools and our own hands.
