Bharat Spun Pipe

Bharat Spun Pipe is located at Plot No 15 in the Dhoble Layout area of Surya Nagar. We are right off Bandar Road, which makes it easy for the big trucks to come and go. Making spun pipes is heavy, dirty work, and we have been doing it at this spot for quite a few years now. The yard is usually filled with concrete pipes of all different sizes stacked up on top of each other. You will mostly see us wearing dusty clothes and heavy boots because there is no way to stay clean in this line of work. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. The sound of the machinery is something we have all gotten used to over the years. We do not have a receptionist or a polished waiting room. If someone comes by, they usually just walk into the yard and find one of us near the molds. We spend a lot of time mixing concrete and making sure everything is set right. It is a physical job and by the end of the day, everyone is pretty tired. We share a meal together sometimes under the shade of the main shed. It is a simple life here in Surya Nagar. We do not do much advertising; people just know we are here on Bandar Road if they need pipes for a project. We just keep our heads down and work.
