Our place is at 3 Aanand Bhavan, right on the Main Road in the wholesale cloth market of Gandhibagh. If you know Nagpur, you know Gandhibagh is one of the most crowded places you can find. It is right in the middle of the cloth market, so there are carts and trucks blocking the road all day long. Getting to us can be a bit of a struggle if you're driving, so most people just walk. Aanand Bhavan is an old building with a lot of character. We have been working out of this spot for a long time. The space is narrow but we have managed to fit a lot of shelves in there. It smells like old paper and medicine inside. Outside, you hear the shouts of the laborers and the constant movement of the market. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name on the door. People come to us from all over because Gandhibagh is a hub for everything. We spend a lot of time counting out strips and writing down orders in our big ledger books. The fans struggle to keep the place cool when the humidity is high. It's a real local experience being here. We aren't trying to be a modern pharmacy with glass doors and air conditioning. We are just a solid medicine point in the heart of the old city market doing what we have always done. The traffic never stops but we just keep working through the noise.
