Ambuja Cement

We are based at F-83, which is part of the Maratha Cement Works area. The post office is Upparwahi and we are in the Korpana taluka. This is all within the Chandrapur district. Being in Maharashtra, or MS as some people write it, means we deal with some serious heat during the summer months. Our office at Ambuja Cement is a simple one. We don't have any big corporate signs or anything like that. It’s just a place to sit and work. The 442 908 pin code is what you would use to find us on a map. Upparwahi is a quiet enough spot. We spend our days at F-83 handling the local tasks and making sure things are moving as they should. The office has a few old wooden desks and some cupboards full of paperwork. We have a small window that lets in a bit of breeze if we are lucky. Most people in Korpana are used to the hard work that goes on around here. We just fit right in with that. It is not a place for people who want luxury. It’s for people who want to get something done. We know our neighbors and we stay focused on the work at hand. Sometimes we share a tea in the afternoon when things slow down for a minute. Then it is back to the files. That is just how life goes for us here in Chandrapur.
