Our place is located behind Tidke Bhavan, near Shaukat Ali Chowk on Centre Avenue. We’ve been handling refrigeration and engineering work for a long time. The workshop is usually a bit of a mess with tools and parts everywhere. We fix cooling systems and deal with the technical side of machinery. It’s a dusty job sometimes. We have a small team of technicians who know their way around a compressor. Shaukat Ali Chowk is a central area, so we get people coming in from all over. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our work happens in the back or out at a customer’s location. We spend a lot of time on our feet. Sometimes we’re working on an old fridge that’s seen better days, and other times it’s a bigger industrial unit. We just take it as it comes. The office is small and mostly used for keeping the books. We aren't much for talking; we'd rather be fixing something. It’s a family-run kind of feel here. We’ve known the neighbors for years. There’s always someone stopping by for a chat or a quick fix. We keep things simple and just focus on the machines. It’s what we know how to do, and we’ve been doing it at this spot for as long as I can remember. We don’t need much else, just a toolbox and some steady work to keep us going through the week. It is a good way to make a living.
