Baba Flour Mill

You can find our flour mill at 18-271 in the NGO’s Colony in Shadnagar, which is part of the Farooqnagar Mandal. It’s a noisy place because the grinding machines are running most of the day. You can smell the fresh flour as soon as you get close to the building. We mostly grind wheat, but we also handle other grains that the local people bring in. It’s a very straightforward business. People come in with their sacks of grain, we weigh them, and then we run them through the stones. The whole place is usually covered in a thin layer of white dust, which is just part of the job. We don't have a fancy storefront. It’s just the mill, the motor, and the space for the bags. Most of our customers are families living right here in Shadnagar. They prefer getting their flour fresh rather than buying the packets from the store. It’s hard work, lifting heavy sacks and making sure the machines are adjusted right for the different grains. We’ve been in the NGO’s Colony for quite some time, and we have a routine that works for us. We open early so people can drop off their grain on the way to work. It’s a basic service that everyone needs. We don't use any additives or anything like that. It’s just the grain you bring in, turned into flour. That’s all there is to it. We just keep the machines running and the customers happy.
