You’ll find us at 1, Thandavamoorthy Kaddu, out here in Rameshwaram. It’s a quiet spot, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Our day starts early, usually before the sun gets too hot, because working with cement in the heat is no joke. We spend most of our time out in the yard, casting pieces or moving heavy bags around. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. The salt air from being in Rameshwaram can be a bit tough on the equipment, so we spend a lot of time cleaning things up. We don't have any fancy signs or a polished front office. Most of the time, we’re just out back getting our hands dirty. Local people know where we are, and they usually just stop by when they’re starting a new project at home. We don't use any high-tech gadgets to run the place, just some old-fashioned hard work and a bit of patience. Sometimes a batch doesn't turn out quite right, and we have to start over, but that’s just part of the process. We don't make any big promises, we just show you what we’ve got and help you load it up. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. We get to talk to everyone who comes through the gate, and it feels more like helping out neighbors than running a business.
