You can find Mtr Exports at No. 5/65 Kovilkuthagai North in Katharipulam. We are based in the Vedaranyam area, which is a bit of a distance from the big cities. This location works well for us because it’s where we grew up and we know everyone around here. We handle various export tasks from this small office. The building isn't much to look at, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain out during the monsoon. We spend our mornings checking the latest requests and our afternoons getting things ready for transport. The pace here is a bit slower than in the city, but we still have plenty to keep us busy throughout the day. We mostly deal with agricultural or local products that need to be sent out. It involves a lot of talking to local farmers and producers to see what’s available for the season. We don't have a website with fancy photos or anything like that. We just talk to people face to face or over the phone. It feels like a more personal way to do business. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads get muddy after a big storm, but we always find a way to get the work finished. We are just a local operation trying to help move goods from our corner of the world to other places. We enjoy the quiet evenings once the trucks have finally left and the day's work is recorded.
