Minerva Higher Secondary School

We are located at number 1/52 on the Neelathanaloor Main Road in Kadichambadi. It’s a bit outside the main town of Kumbakonam, so it’s surrounded by a lot more greenery and open space. The school is a higher secondary institution, so we have teenagers from all around the district coming here for their final years of schooling. The building is a bit older, with long corridors and large windows that look out toward the road. It gets a lot of dust from the traffic, so we are always sweeping the floors to keep things presentable. We have a small playground where the students hang out during their breaks. The teachers here are local folks who understand the rhythm of life in 612501. They don't just teach; they spend a lot of time talking to the older students about what to do after they graduate. We have a science lab that’s been put together over the years, and a computer room where the machines aren’t the newest but they still work well enough for lessons. It's a quiet existence for the most part, except during the morning rush when everyone arrives at once. We don't try to be something we're not. We’re just a local school providing a place for kids in Kadichambadi to finish their education. We keep the gates open, the chalkboards clean, and we just do the work that needs doing.
