Our place, Graymail Technology Private Limited, is situated right in Bakalia Bazar. We are in Ward No 3, which is a lively part of the Karbi Anglong district. Being in the bazaar means there is always something going on outside, whether it’s the market days or just the general buzz of the town. We have our setup here where we handle all our tech work. It’s not a corporate headquarters or anything like that. It’s just a solid office where we show up every morning. Some days are busier than others. When the market is in full swing, it can be quite noisy, but we’ve gotten used to it over time. We like being part of the community here in Bakalia. People around here know us as the folks who work on computers. We don't use much fancy language when we talk about what we do. We just fix problems and build things that people need. Our team is small, and we all help each other out when things get complicated. If the power cuts out, which happens sometimes in this part of Assam, we just wait it out or find something else to do. It’s a very local way of working. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we just want to do a decent job for the people who rely on us here in the district and keep our little operation running smoothly every day.
