Computer House

Computer House has been on J.K.Kedia Road in Hojai for quite some time. The road gets quite busy during the day with all the shops lined up. Inside, we have some glass counters where we keep the smaller components like mice, keyboards, and pen drives. The back of the shop is where we do most of the actual repair work. It’s usually a bit of a mess back there with open computer cases and screws scattered on magnetic mats. We try to keep things organized, but when three different repairs come in at once, it gets a bit chaotic. Hojai is a place where people rely on their tech for everything, so when someone’s desktop goes down, they usually need it back as soon as possible. We do our best to get things fixed quickly, but sometimes parts have to be ordered from further away. The air conditioner in here is a bit old and makes a humming noise that you eventually stop noticing. We get a lot of students from the nearby schools coming in to get things printed or to ask questions about their laptops. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person. It’s just us here on J.K.Kedia Road, dealing with whatever technical problems walk through the door. It’s a steady rhythm of fixing, selling, and talking to the neighbors who stop in to say hello. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just have to wait it out in the dark for a while.
