Asian Food Ind.

Our place is situated right along National Highway No. 8 over in Dabnan. If you’re driving through Nadiad, you probably pass us without thinking much about it. Asian Food Ind. is a busy spot, mostly because of all the trucks coming and going on the highway. It gets quite dusty out here with all the traffic, but we’re used to it. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of machines and people moving crates around. We’ve been operating out of this location for a good bit of time. The tea stalls nearby are where most of us head during the breaks to get away from the noise for a minute. It isn't a fancy setup by any means. We focus on getting the food products processed and packed so they can get loaded onto the next truck heading out. Some days the heat is a real bother, especially in the middle of the afternoon. We have a routine that we stick to, starting early in the morning before the sun gets too high. There's always something that needs fixing or a floor that needs sweeping. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. Just a gate and the main production area where the real work happens. It’s a straightforward operation and we like keeping it that way. Everyone knows their job and we just get on with it.
