Wheelies Comfort Food Services Private Limited is way out in Ranaghat at 259 Nasra South. It is a bit of a distance from the main hub of Kolkata, but we like it that way. We focus on comfort food because that is what people usually want at the end of a long day. Our kitchen is where all the action happens. It is a busy place with plenty of steam and the smell of cooking. We call it Wheelies because we started with the idea of being mobile, though we do a lot from our fixed base here in Nasra. The neighborhood is friendly and we get a lot of locals coming by for a bite. We don't have a fancy menu with words no one can pronounce. It’s just food that makes you feel better. The building we are in is nothing special to look at from the outside, but inside we are always working hard to keep up with orders. We have a small team and everyone does a bit of everything, from chopping vegetables to answering the phone. It gets hectic around dinner time, but we managed to find a rhythm that works for us. We just want to keep feeding people and making sure they leave with a full stomach. It’s a simple goal but it keeps us busy from morning until night every day. We don't need much more than that to stay satisfied.
