Ugly Coffee Private Limited

We started Ugly Coffee Private Limited because we just liked the drink ourselves. It is pretty quiet out here in Barniapara, Nadia. Being based at Alauddin Sk's place gives us a bit of room to work without the city noise. Most days involve a lot of trial and error with different roasts. It isn't always pretty, which is why we picked the name. We aren't trying to be fancy or look like those high-end shops you see in the big malls. Sometimes the bags are a bit dusty and the floor needs a sweep, but that is just how things go when you are busy working. We spend a lot of time just talking about beans and how to get them delivered to people without too much fuss. It is a small setup here in the village. We handle most of the stuff ourselves, from the heavy lifting to the paperwork that never seems to end. The weather gets hot in Nadia, so we try to do the roasting early in the morning. People around here know where to find us if they need anything. We don't have a big front desk or a receptionist. If you stop by, you will probably just find one of us in an old t-shirt figuring out the next batch. It’s a simple life and we just keep at it day after day. It might not be the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is.
