Khushbu Tea Store

Khushbu Tea Store is right in the middle of things at Chandni Chowk in Bishnupur. We are quite close to the Bishnupur Chowk and the Mirzapur Post Office. It’s a very busy intersection with people constantly moving. Our shop isn't big, but we pack a lot of tea into the shelves. The smell of tea hits you as soon as you step inside. We don't have fancy displays, just wooden counters and glass jars. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming for years. We spend a lot of time weighing out portions on the old scale. Sometimes the noise from the market outside makes it hard to hear, so we have to speak up. We don't have a website or a fancy phone. If people want to talk to us, they just walk in. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We focus more on the tea than the decor. It’s a bit dusty because of all the traffic, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the counters. We’ve seen the post office change over the years, but we’re still here. It’s a decent life. We don't ask for much, just enough work to keep us busy. People know us for being there every day, rain or shine. It’s just a small shop on a busy corner. We close up when the streetlights come on.
