D A V Public School

Our school is tucked away inside the Diamond Residential Complex on D H Road. If you are driving through Haranandapur, it’s hard to miss the turn. South 24 Parganas can get quite busy, but once you get inside the complex, things calm down a bit. D A V Public School has been part of this neighborhood for a while. We have teachers who have been here since the start and some new faces too. The hallways are usually filled with the sound of kids chatting between classes. It gets pretty humid here in the afternoons, so we try to keep the fans running. We don't really go for big speeches or glossy brochures. Instead, we spend our time making sure the lessons are done and the homework is checked. The playground is where most of the action happens during lunch break. It’s not a massive campus, but we use every bit of space we have. Sometimes the gate gets jammed, or the water cooler needs a fix, but we handle it as it comes. It's just a regular school day for us, from Monday to Saturday. Parents often drop their kids off on their way to work. It’s a familiar routine for everyone in this part of town. We just try to keep things moving forward and make sure the kids have what they need for their classes.
