Binasati Rice & Flour Mill Llp

We are located right in Mira Bazar, specifically near the Kadamtalla area in Plassey. It is quite a busy spot most days of the week. Being a rice and flour mill, things get pretty dusty around here, especially when the machines are running full tilt. We have been at this for a while now in the Kaliganj block of Nadia. Most of the people around here know where to find us. It is not a fancy setup by any means. We have the big grinders and the sifters that make a lot of noise. You can hear the hum from the street when you walk past the post office. People bring in their grain from the nearby fields and we spend the day getting it processed into what they need. Sometimes the electricity goes out and everything just stops, which is a bit of a headache, but that is just how it goes in West Bengal sometimes. We just sit outside and wait for the power to come back on. The workers here have been around for years and they know the machines inside out. We don’t really do anything big or flashy. It is just about getting the flour bagged up and the rice cleaned properly. The bags are heavy and we spend a lot of time moving them from one corner to the other. It is honest work and keeps everyone busy from morning till the sun goes down.
