You can find us at 338 on the 4th Cross in Roopa Nagar. It’s a bit tucked away, so you have to look for the number on the gate. We’ve been operating Srs Industries out of this spot for quite a while now. The neighborhood is mostly residential but there are a few of us running small shops on this cross. It’s a noisy business, to be honest. The machines make a lot of humming sounds all day long. We try to keep the doors shut so we don’t bother the neighbors too much. There are only four of us working here right now. We do a lot of the assembly by hand on the big wooden tables in the middle of the floor. It’s not the cleanest place, there’s always bits of metal or shavings on the floor, but we sweep up every Friday. Roopa Nagar has changed a lot since we moved in. There are more houses now and the street is narrower with all the cars parked outside. We don't have a fancy office, just a small desk in the corner where I handle the bills and the orders. We mostly work with local folks who need parts made. We don't do any big advertising. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door. It’s a steady rhythm of work. We start at eight and usually finish by six, unless there’s a big job that needs finishing. It’s just a plain, hardworking industrial shop that stays in its own lane.
