Shie Salon Skin Spa

We’ve been here in Kuvempunagar for a while now, right over on Nrupathunga Road in the 1st Stage area. Our place is pretty easy to find since we are just next to Megha Medicals. If you walk past the shop, you’ll see the sign for Shie Salon Skin Spa. It’s a bit of a busy spot around here in Mysore, especially on the weekends when everyone is out running errands or getting groceries nearby. The shop itself is just a regular place where we spend most of our day. We start early in the morning, unlocking the front door and getting the towels ready. There is usually a bit of dust on the porch from the road, so sweeping is the first thing we do. Inside, it smells like soap and different creams we use for the skin. We have the usual chairs and mirrors that you’d expect. Sometimes it gets loud with people talking or the sound of water running in the sinks. The light comes in through the front windows in the afternoon, which makes the floor look a bit shiny. We keep our tools on the counters and try to keep things organized, though it gets a bit messy when we are busy with several people at once. It’s just us working here, trying to get through the day and making sure the floor stays clean enough. People from around the neighborhood stop in, mostly folks who live nearby in 570023. We just do our work and go home.
