Smart Loreal Unisex Salon is located at No.730 in the Suraj Shopping Complex right on the Main Road in Nazarbad. If you know where the Milari Hotel is in Mysore, then you’ve probably walked past us a few times. It’s a busy part of town, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping or getting food. Inside our shop, there’s always that smell of shampoo and hairspray in the air. We spend most of our time standing on our feet, moving between the wash stations and the styling chairs. The floor is usually covered in bits of hair by mid-afternoon. We’ve got some big windows out front that let in the light from the street, which is nice. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a few people show up at the same time without calling first. We just tell them to grab a seat and wait a bit. It’s not a silent place; there’s always the sound of hair dryers going and people chatting about their day. We try to keep the magazines on the table up to date, but they usually get crumpled pretty fast. Being in the complex means we see a lot of the same neighbors every day. It’s a straightforward shop where we just handle whatever hair needs doing. We’re glad to be part of the Nazarbad neighborhood here in Mysore and keep the shop running every day.
