Shadow Beauty Salon

Shadow Beauty Salon is up on the second floor here on Shivaji Road in the Rajput Block area. Most people in Narasimharaja Mohalla know where we are, but sometimes new folks have a bit of a climb since the stairs can be a little steep if you aren't used to them. We’ve been in Mysore for a while now. The salon isn't huge, but it fits what we need. We have the usual chairs and mirrors for doing hair and taking care of skin. It gets pretty bright in the afternoons when the sun hits the front windows. We spend most of our day dealing with haircuts or maybe some threading and facials when people have time to sit for a bit. It’s mostly locals who drop by, often coming in after they’ve done their errands nearby. We try to keep the place tidy, though with hair and stuff everywhere, there is always a broom moving around. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but they keep the air moving which is good when it gets hot outside. We don’t have fancy coffee or anything, just a place to get your work done and maybe chat for a minute while you wait. Most days it’s just the sound of scissors and the radio playing softly in the background. It's a simple setup we have going here on the second floor, nothing too complicated or flashy. We are just a local spot for folks to get their hair sorted out.
