We are located over at Balaji Tower, specifically at No 40 in Kuvempu Nagar. It’s a decent building, though finding a parking spot can be a real struggle some mornings when everyone is arriving at once. We do geo engineering stuff, which sounds a bit more complicated than it actually is on a daily basis. Mostly it’s a lot of paperwork, maps, and looking at soil data on our screens. We’ve been in this office for a while. It’s not a huge place, just a few desks and some filing cabinets that are probably a bit too full. We have a small tea break in the afternoon which is usually the highlight of the day for most of us. People come in and out, some clients, some guys from the field sites bringing back samples. The view from the window isn't much to look at, just the street and other buildings. We don’t have those fancy receptionists or anything like that. If you come in, you’ll probably just see one of us hunched over a drawing or typing something up at our desk. It’s a quiet enough place to work, usually. Sometimes the elevator in the tower acts up, so we take the stairs instead. It keeps us moving, I guess. We focus on getting the reports done as they come in. It's not flashy work, but it’s necessary for the projects we handle. We’ve got a small team here, and we all know each other well. It’s just a regular office life in a busy city.
