Lavanya Fabrication

Lavanya Fabrication is situated at 471/8 Kottai Street in Madhagondahally. We are a small local outfit and we’ve been working out of this spot for quite some time now. Mostly we do welding and basic fabrication work. If you walk by Kottai Street, you’ll probably see the bright flashes of the welding torches through our front gate. It’s a dusty job and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We don't have any fancy titles here. I’m usually out there with the guys instead of sitting behind a desk. We use a lot of manual tools and some old welding sets that have seen better days but still work perfectly fine. The neighborhood is quiet compared to the city, which is nice. We know most of the people living on this street. Sometimes they drop by just to chat or ask for a small fix on a gate or a bike. We don't have a brochure or a fancy logo. We just have a board outside with the name on it. Most of our work comes from word of mouth. Someone needs a frame built or some sheets cut, and they come find us. We don't have big corporate meetings. We just look at the drawing, figure out the material, and start cutting the metal. It’s a basic way to live, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills.
