You can find us over in Mysore, specifically in Gokulam 3rd Stage. We are located at number 810 on the second floor along Contour Road. Being on the second floor means we have a bit of a view of the street, and it keeps us slightly away from the direct dust of the road. We are right above the TVS showroom and very close to the Ganesha Temple. It’s a nice landmark because everyone knows where the temple is. Our place is both a salon and a training academy. We have people coming in to get their hair done, and we also have students around trying to learn the trade. It gets a bit crowded sometimes with all the chairs and the equipment, but it’s a good kind of busy. Gokulam is a pretty peaceful part of Mysore compared to the city center. We spend our days teaching the younger ones how to hold a pair of scissors and how to treat the customers right. It isn’t some high-end luxury spa with soft music; it’s a place where work happens and people talk and laugh. The walk up the stairs to the second floor is part of the routine for us and our regulars. We’ve been here for a bit now and feel like a part of the neighborhood, especially with the temple bells ringing nearby. It’s just a simple setup for hair and beauty training where we try to do things properly.
