Good Luck Hair Dresses is a small shop located at number 153 on Ganesh Temple Road. We are in the Udayagiri area of Mysore. As the name of the road suggests, we are very close to the Ganesh Temple, which is where most people look for us. It’s a busy little spot in Mysore, and the temple brings a lot of people to this street every single day. We primarily handle hair, like the name says. Men and kids from the neighborhood come here for their regular cuts. It is a very traditional kind of place. We have the standard barber chairs and the big mirrors that have been there for years. The shop is a bit old-fashioned, but that’s how we like it. We don't use any fancy booking systems; people just show up and wait their turn on the bench. Sometimes there’s a bit of a queue, especially on Sunday mornings when everyone wants to look sharp for the week ahead. You can hear the bells from the temple while we work, which is quite nice actually. We’ve been part of Udayagiri for a long time now. We know the families around here and have seen the kids grow up and start bringing their own children in. It’s just a simple hair dressing shop where you can get a decent cut and have a bit of a chat about the local news.
