Corun Foods

Corun Foods is a small operation located at 10, D Devaraja Urs Road. It’s a busy street and there is always something going on outside our door. We mostly focus on getting food items ready for the local shops and people who stop by. The interior is pretty plain, with white walls and a few tables where we sort through the inventory. I’ve been working here for a bit now, and you get used to the rhythm of the place. The morning starts with a lot of heavy lifting and checking the orders against the sheets. We don't have any fancy decorations or marketing posters. It is just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the sink leaks a little in the back, but we just put a bucket under it until we can get it fixed. The lighting is those long fluorescent tubes that hum if you listen closely. We don't talk much while we work, everyone just knows their job. When the weather is hot, we keep the front door open to get a bit of a breeze, even if it brings in the street noise. People around D Devaraja Urs Road know where to find us if they need something specific. We don't pretend to be anything more than a local food business trying to stay afloat. It's a lot of repetitive tasks, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing the crates go out full and come back empty.
