Civil Heights

Our place, Civil Heights, is situated on Dr Rajkumar Road in the Kalyana Girinagar area of Mysore. We are right at number 31, which is directly opposite the KEB Power Station. It is a good landmark because everyone around here knows where the power station is located. We work on a lot of different building and construction plans from this office. It is mostly just stacks of blueprints, some measuring tools, and a couple of computers on the desks. The office is not very large, but it is enough for what we need to do. We spend a lot of time out on site looking at foundations, but this is where we come back to do the drawings and the math. Being on Dr Rajkumar Road means we are fairly central and it is easy for people to drop by and talk. We have been in the civil work business for a while now, and Mysore has been a good home for us. We do not really go for the corporate look; the office feels more like a workshop than a boardroom. There is always a bit of dust around from the site visits we do, and the desks are usually covered in sketches. We like the local vibe of Kalyana Girinagar. It is a steady life, just moving from one project to the next and making sure the structures are solid for the people who end up using them every day.
