The office is at No 1163, right upstairs on Bajjanna Lane. We are in the Chamarajapuram area of Mysore, very close to Ballalcircle. It’s a quiet enough lane, though the main circle nearby can get pretty loud with all the buses and cars. Being upstairs gives us a bit of a view of the street below. Bindumadhava K N has been at this location for a while. It’s a traditional kind of spot, not one of those glass and steel buildings. We like the character of the neighborhood. Chamarajapuram has a lot of history and you can feel that when you walk around. Our space is functional. We have the usual stuff, desks, files, and a place for people to sit. It’s not a corporate environment. We talk to our neighbors and the people who live nearby. Work usually starts early and we stay until the light starts to fade. Sometimes we are here later if there’s a lot to catch up on. People often find us because they were already in the Ballalcircle area. It’s a recognizable landmark in Mysore. We don’t have a flashy entrance. You just come up the stairs and you’re there. It’s a simple way of doing things, and it works for us. We try to be helpful to anyone who walks through the door, keeping things relaxed but productive throughout the week. It’s just us doing our jobs in a quiet corner of the city.
