A. B. Components

Over at 20-B in the Hootgalli Industrial Area, things stay pretty busy. We’ve been operating A. B. Components from this same spot for a while now. It’s a straightforward setup. We have the shop floor where all the components are handled and a small area for the paperwork. It’s not the most glamorous place you’ll ever see, but it’s where we spend most of our lives. The guys on the floor know these parts like the back of their hands. We deal with a lot of small pieces, so you have to be careful not to drop anything or it might just disappear into a corner. We aren't big on fancy titles or anything. Everyone just pitches in where they are needed. If the packing needs doing, we all help out. If a customer calls with a question, whoever picks up the phone tries to help them. We don't have a scripted way of talking. It’s just us. Sometimes the power goes out or the heat gets a bit much in the summer, but we just keep at it. We’ve got a group of people who have been with us through thick and thin. We don't spend money on big ads or trying to look like something we aren't. We just want to get the components out to the people who are waiting for them. It’s a simple life here in the industrial park, and we’re okay with that.
