We’ve been here at 1406 Vth Cross in Mysore for a while now. It’s a pretty quiet spot compared to the busier parts of Karnataka, and honestly, that’s how we like it. Most days start with the sound of the neighborhood waking up. We set up our desks and get to work on whatever needs doing for Infosys Technologies Ltd. It isn't fancy, just a regular place where we spend a lot of our time. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out, but we just deal with it. People walk by the window all day, and we see the same faces every morning. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just us and our computers in this part of town. Mysore has a certain pace to it that shows up in how we work. We aren't rushing around like people in the bigger cities. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to get things right. Sometimes we go out for a coffee nearby when the afternoon slump hits. It’s a simple setup. There isn't much more to say about it. We are just here doing our jobs day in and day out at this specific address. It feels like home after so many years of being in the same building. We know where everything is, from the creaky floorboard to the best spot for phone reception.
