We started this thing here in Mithanpura. Prashant Kumar is the main person around here at Nand Vihar Colony. It’s mostly about working with the ground and getting things grown right. People know where to find us if they need to talk about what we’re doing. It’s not a huge setup, just a regular place where we keep track of the day-to-day work. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, but that is just how it goes when you deal with organic stuff. We spend a lot of time checking on the plants and making sure the soil is okay. It’s quiet in this part of town, which is nice for focusing on the work. My hands are usually dirty by the end of the day. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. It's just a local operation. We have been here for a bit now, learning as we go. If you walk down the road in Nand Vihar, you'll see where we set things up. The office isn't fancy, just a room with some tables and papers. We try to keep things simple. Dealing with nature takes patience. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot. We just want to do a decent job and stay busy. That’s pretty much the whole story of Tirhut Organic. We are just locals trying to make a go of it. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything moving. We don't have much time for sitting around.
