We started Gohand Organic Farmer Producer Company Limited a while back. We're based over at Baldaoo’s place in Magrauth. It’s just a group of us farmers working together on the land here. We grow stuff without all those chemicals because that’s how it used to be done around these parts. Magrauth is a quiet spot, and most days you’ll find us out in the fields or sitting around figuring out the next crop cycle. It isn’t some big fancy operation with a glass office or anything like that. Just a bunch of local folks trying to make a living from the soil. We deal with the weather and the dirt every single day. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when we want it to, but we manage. People ask why we do organic, and really, it’s just because it feels right for the land we live on. Being a producer company means we all have a say in how things go. It’s a lot of work, keeping track of everything and making sure the plants are healthy. We don't have a marketing team or someone to write pretty stories for us. We just grow what we can and hope it gets to people who appreciate it. If you ever find yourself near Magrauth, you can usually spot someone from the group near the main path. We’re just regular people doing the farming thing day in and day out.
